New injection technique aims to ease recovery pain after common surgery
NCT ID NCT06116409
Summary
This study tested a new type of nerve block injection to see if it could better control pain after a laparoscopic hysterectomy. Fifty patients having this surgery were split into two groups: one received the new nerve block, and the other received standard pain medication. Researchers compared the pain levels and need for extra painkillers between the two groups in the first day after surgery.
