New pain block could speed recovery from common hernia surgery
NCT ID NCT06862609
Summary
This study is testing a new type of nerve block, called the Quadro-Iliac plane block, to see if it improves recovery and reduces pain after laparoscopic inguinal hernia surgery. Researchers will compare this new block to standard pain management in 70 adults having this common operation. The goal is to find a better way to control pain after surgery, which can help patients get moving sooner and go home faster.
