New injection technique aims to ease agony of major chest surgery
NCT ID NCT06361121
Summary
This study tested two different nerve-blocking injections to see which one better controls pain after major chest surgery. Researchers compared a newer, potentially safer technique against a standard one in 180 adults. The main goal was to see which method led to patients needing less strong painkiller medication (fentanyl) in the first day after their operation.
