New device tested to help people with severe neck pain walk away from surgery faster

NCT ID NCT04229017

Summary

This study is testing a new medical device designed to help people with severe, multi-level neck pain from degenerative disc disease. It is for patients who need complex spine fusion surgery and haven't been helped by other treatments like physical therapy or medication. The trial is comparing a new surgical approach using this device to a standard surgery to see if it leads to better bone healing, faster pain relief, and fewer complications.
