New 'Blow-Out' nasal spray aims to relieve stubborn ear pressure

NCT ID NCT05275686

Summary

This study is testing whether a new type of fluticasone nasal spray, which uses a special 'exhalation' delivery system, can help people with chronic Eustachian tube dysfunction (ETD). ETD causes symptoms like ear pressure, fullness, and muffled hearing. Researchers will compare the new spray to a placebo in 80 adults to see if it improves their symptoms more effectively than standard sprays.
