Scientists test High-Tech scan to see if prostate cancer drugs work faster

NCT ID NCT06384222

Summary

This study is testing a new type of MRI scan to see if it can detect early signs that a drug treatment is working for men with high-risk prostate cancer. The scan looks at how cancer cells use energy. Researchers want to see if changes on this scan, taken just 4 weeks into treatment, can predict how well the cancer will respond before the patient has surgery. The goal is to find a better way to monitor treatment quickly.
