New scan could reveal Chemo's hidden impact on liver tumors
NCT ID NCT04796818
Summary
This study is testing a new, specialized type of MRI scan to see if it can better measure how well chemotherapy is working for patients with colorectal cancer that has spread to the liver. The scan is done before and after a few rounds of chemo to see if changes in the scan images match how well the tumor is actually responding. The goal is to improve how doctors monitor treatment, but this scan is for measurement only and does not change the treatment itself.
