First seen Apr 08, 2026 · Last updated Apr 22, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study is testing a new type of MRI scanner to see if it can measure the size of a specific type of early breast cancer more accurately. Twelve patients scheduled for surgery will get both a standard MRI and the new scan. Researchers will compare the scan results to the actual tumor size measured after surgery to check the new scanner's accuracy.
