Targeted 'Alpha' radiation zaps tough melanoma in new trial

Summary
This study is testing a new type of targeted radiation drug called [212Pb]VMT01 for people with advanced melanoma that has returned or spread and has not responded to other treatments. The drug is designed to deliver a powerful dose of radiation directly to melanoma cells. Researchers will test the drug by itself and combined with an existing immunotherapy (nivolumab) in up to 300 participants to find the safest dose and see how well it works.
