Scientists test Triple-Drug cocktail to combat Drug-Resistant malaria

NCT ID NCT05951595

Summary

This study is testing whether a new triple-drug combination treatment works as well as current standard malaria treatments. Researchers will enroll 1,680 patients with uncomplicated malaria in Africa and Asia to compare the new three-drug therapy against two existing two-drug combinations. The goal is to find more effective treatments as malaria parasites become resistant to current medications.
