Scientists test new drug duo to control blood cancer without chemotherapy

NCT ID NCT03789240

Summary

This study is testing whether a combination of two drugs, copanlisib and rituximab, can effectively control follicular lymphoma in people who have not yet received treatment. The goal is to see if this drug duo can lead to deep and lasting remissions without using traditional chemotherapy. The treatment is given through an IV, and researchers will closely monitor how well the cancer responds and for how long.
