New hope for aggressive lung cancer: trial tests experimental drug combo
NCT ID NCT07155174
Summary
This study is testing a new drug, ABBV-706, combined with an existing immunotherapy (atezolizumab) for people with a fast-spreading type of lung cancer who haven't had treatment yet. Researchers want to find the best dose, see if it's safe, and check if it works better than the current standard treatment at slowing the cancer's growth. About 180 adults worldwide will take part, receiving either the new combination or the standard treatment.
