Breath test could revolutionize early lung cancer detection

NCT ID NCT07370077

Summary

This study aims to develop a better system for finding early lung cancer and telling it apart from harmless lung nodules. Researchers will test a combination of breath analysis, blood tests, and advanced CT scan analysis on 1,800 participants. The goal is to create a more accurate, non-invasive screening method that catches cancer early while reducing unnecessary worry and procedures from false alarms.
