Major trial tests new weapon against advanced lung cancer

Summary
This study is testing whether a new drug called PF-08634404, when combined with chemotherapy, works better than the current standard treatment (pembrolizumab with chemotherapy) for adults with advanced non-small cell lung cancer. About 1,410 participants will be randomly assigned to receive either the new combination or the standard treatment to compare survival and side effects. The goal is to see if the new treatment can help people with this serious cancer live longer or better control their disease.
