Doctors test High-Tech scope to make lung biopsies safer and more accurate
NCT ID NCT07352176
Summary
This study is testing whether using a special high-magnification camera (confocal laser endomicroscopy) during a lung biopsy can make the procedure safer and more accurate. Researchers will compare this new method to the standard technique in 40 patients with suspicious lung spots. The main goals are to see if the new approach causes fewer side effects and gets better tissue samples for diagnosis.
