Breakthrough injection could offer months of relief from painful neck spasms

Summary

This study is testing whether a new injection called IPN10200 works better than a placebo for adults with cervical dystonia, a condition that causes painful neck muscle spasms and abnormal head positions. The current standard treatment involves injections that wear off after about three months, but researchers hope IPN10200 will provide longer-lasting relief. About 132 participants will receive either the study drug or a placebo injection and be followed for approximately 9 months to measure changes in symptoms, pain, and daily function.
