NCT ID NCT05395481

Summary

This is an early-stage study to check the safety and side effects of a new drug called LY3849891 in people with fatty liver disease (MASLD) who have a specific genetic marker (PNPLA3 I148M). About 176 participants will receive injections of the drug, and researchers will use blood tests and MRI scans of the liver to see how the body processes the drug and if it reduces liver fat and inflammation. The study will last up to 32 weeks per person.
