Scientists test liquid version of common diabetes drug

NCT ID NCT07300020

Summary

This early-stage study aims to understand how the body absorbs a new liquid version of the drug metformin, which is commonly used for type 2 diabetes. Researchers will compare it to standard metformin tablets in 24 healthy adults. The main goal is to measure the drug levels in the blood to see if the liquid form works similarly to the pills.
