New lens aims to sharpen vision after cataract surgery

Summary
This study is testing a new type of artificial lens (the enVista Beyond) for people having cataract surgery. It aims to see if this lens provides better vision at arm's length and for reading compared to a standard lens. About 304 participants will have the new lens or the standard one placed in both eyes to compare results.
