Summary
This study is testing a new monitoring device called xBar, which is a special surgical drain with sensors. It aims to detect dangerous internal leaks early in patients recovering from colon surgery. Doctors will compare the device's leak alerts to their standard assessments to see if it helps catch problems sooner.
