New suction device could make kidney stone removal safer and more complete
NCT ID NCT06667466
Summary
This study is testing whether using a special suction device during laser kidney stone removal works better than the current standard method. Researchers want to see if the new approach removes more stones completely and causes fewer complications. The trial will involve 140 adults with kidney or ureteral stones who need surgical removal.
