Summary

This was the first study in people to test the safety of an experimental drug called SAR446959, injected directly into the knee joint. It involved 32 adults aged 45-65 with knee osteoarthritis. The main goal was to see if the injection was safe and how the body processed it, comparing it to a placebo injection.
