Summary
This early-stage study is testing whether a special cell treatment can help prevent rejection in people receiving a kidney from a living donor. Doctors take cells from the donor, treat them with light therapy, then give them to the recipient before and after transplant. The main goal is to see if this approach is safe and if it lowers the chance of the body rejecting the new kidney.
