Summary
This study tested whether a new surgical tool could make kidney stone removal faster and more efficient. Researchers compared a new flexible sheath with built-in suction to the standard sheath used during a common minimally invasive procedure. They measured if the new tool reduced surgery time and improved outcomes for 50 adult patients with kidney stones.
