NCT ID NCT06572215
Summary
This study is testing new, simpler methods to measure how well kidneys can respond to stress, called 'kidney reserve.' It involves people with sickle cell disease affecting their kidneys or people who have donated a kidney. Participants will have their kidney function checked before and after drinking a protein shake to see how their kidneys respond.
