New hope for advanced kidney cancer patients in trial testing experimental drug cocktails

Summary
This study is testing two new combinations of immunotherapy drugs and a targeted therapy (axitinib) for people with advanced kidney cancer that cannot be removed by surgery. It will compare these new combinations to a current standard treatment (pembrolizumab + axitinib) to see if they are safe and effective. The main goal is to measure side effects in about 199 participants who have not received prior treatment for their advanced cancer.
