Can a new injection help dialysis patients sleep through the night?
NCT ID NCT07380113
Summary
This study aims to see if a new intravenous drug called Anrikefon helps people with severe, chronic itching from kidney disease sleep better than an existing oral medication, nalfurafine. Researchers will enroll 50 adults on regular dialysis who have this debilitating itch. Participants will be randomly assigned to receive one of the two treatments for four weeks, and their sleep quality and quality of life will be measured using questionnaires.
