Scientists test new imaging tracer to spot aggressive tumors
NCT ID NCT07132645
Summary
This early study is testing a new imaging tracer called [68Ga]Ga-FAPI-04 to see where and how much of it collects in the bodies of patients with high-grade neuroendocrine tumors. Researchers will use PET and CT scans to compare the tracer's uptake in tumors versus normal tissues like liver and muscle. The goal is to gather information that could help improve future imaging and diagnosis for this type of cancer.
