New scan lights up Hard-to-See cancer cells

NCT ID NCT04199741

Summary

This study is testing a new type of imaging scan to see if it can safely and effectively detect small cell lung cancer and similar tumors. The scan uses a special tracer that attaches to a protein called DLL3, which is often found on these cancer cells. Researchers want to see if the scan can provide clearer pictures of where the cancer is located and how much of the protein is present.
