First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated Apr 16, 2026 · Updated 14 times

Summary

This is a small, early-stage study to see if a new type of imaging scan can more accurately find and measure head and neck cancer tumors before surgery. Researchers will compare the new scan, which uses a special tracer drug, to the standard scan that is already used. The study is for imaging purposes only and will not change the patient's treatment plan.
