New hope for Tough-to-Treat stomach cancers in major trial

Summary
This study is testing if adding a new drug called zanidatamab to the standard two-drug treatment works better to control advanced stomach and esophageal cancer that has a specific marker (HER2-positive). It will involve 168 adults whose cancer has worsened despite previous treatment. The goal is to see if the three-drug combination can slow cancer growth more effectively and improve survival.
