Breakthrough test could spot dangerous pregnancy complication sooner
NCT ID NCT07209748
Summary
This study aims to see if a protein in the blood called sCD163 can help doctors detect HELLP syndrome earlier. HELLP is a serious pregnancy complication involving blood and liver problems. Researchers will compare sCD163 levels in 70 pregnant women with and without HELLP to see if this marker is better at spotting the condition and judging its severity.
