Breakthrough heart valve trial offers hope for High-Risk patients
NCT ID NCT06581471
Summary
This European study is testing a new replacement heart valve for people with severe tricuspid regurgitation, where blood leaks backward through the heart valve. The trial will enroll 80 adult patients who are at increased risk for traditional open-heart surgery. Researchers will track whether the new device safely reduces valve leakage and improves patients' ability to walk and heart function.
