New minimally invasive heart valve tested for severe leakage

Summary
This early study is testing a new device called the Topaz system, which aims to replace a leaky tricuspid heart valve without major open-heart surgery. It will enroll about 15 adult patients with severe valve leakage who are at high risk for traditional surgery. Doctors will assess the safety of the procedure and whether the new valve successfully reduces the leakage.
