Breakthrough heart valve trial offers hope for severe aortic stenosis patients
NCT ID NCT05909748
Summary
This study is testing a new heart valve replacement system called GEMINUS for people with severe aortic stenosis, a condition where the heart's aortic valve narrows and restricts blood flow. Researchers will implant the device in 30 patients through a minimally invasive procedure to evaluate its safety and how well it works. Participants will be followed for up to 5 years to monitor their recovery and the valve's performance.
