New hope for High-Risk heart patients: implant trial for untreatable valve leak

Summary
This trial is testing a new device called the Intrepid TMVR System for people with a severely leaking heart valve (mitral regurgitation) who are too high-risk for standard valve repair or replacement surgery. Doctors will implant the new valve using a thin tube (catheter) inserted through a blood vessel in the leg, avoiding open-heart surgery. The study will check if the procedure is safe and if it successfully reduces the valve leak and improves patients' symptoms and quality of life.
