Experimental heart valve procedure offers hope for severe valve leak patients
NCT ID NCT07171060
Summary
This early study is testing a new catheter-based device called the Laplace System to replace leaky tricuspid heart valves. The research aims to see if the procedure is safe and technically possible for patients with severe, symptomatic tricuspid regurgitation who haven't improved with medication. The study will enroll 15 participants aged 60-90 in Canada to evaluate the device's initial performance.
