New heart device aims to stop stents from clogging again

NCT ID NCT07159087

Summary

This study is testing a new medical device called the Genoss® SCB, which is a drug-coated balloon, to see if it works as well as an existing treatment for a condition where a previously placed heart stent becomes narrowed again. The trial will enroll 94 patients who have this re-narrowing and randomly assign them to receive either the new balloon or the standard one. The main goal is to see which device better keeps the artery open six months after the procedure.
