Breakthrough stent method aims to reduce heart attack risk

NCT ID NCT05406284

Summary

This study is testing a new surgical technique for placing stents (tiny mesh tubes) in complex, branching heart arteries. The goal is to see if this 'Double Kissing Nano-Culotte' method leads to fewer complications like heart attacks or the need for repeat procedures compared to current techniques. The trial will enroll 12 patients with specific types of coronary artery blockages to compare outcomes.
