Revolutionary scan aims to see inside beating hearts of children
NCT ID NCT07255144
Summary
This study is testing a new, very fast type of ultrasound imaging to better measure how well the heart fills with blood in children born with heart defects. It aims to see if this technology can more accurately assess heart stiffness and blood flow, which are hard to measure with current tools. The goal is to improve diagnosis to help guide future treatments for these children.
