One-Minute scan aims to replace risky heart tests
NCT ID NCT07192965
Summary
This study is testing a new, faster type of CT scan for people who come to the emergency room with chest pain and signs of possible heart injury. The goal is to see if this quick scan can accurately diagnose blockages in heart arteries and other serious conditions, potentially avoiding the need for more invasive tests. About 230 participants will get both the new scan and the standard invasive heart artery test to compare the results.
