Sleep apnea study aims to uncover hidden heart dangers
NCT ID NCT07427589
First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study looks at 270 adults with moderate to severe sleep apnea to find better ways to measure heart risks. Researchers will test new tools that go beyond the usual breathing scores, like oxygen drops and heart rate changes during sleep. They will also see how different treatments—CPAP machines, mouth devices, or nerve stimulation—affect heart health over time. The goal is to improve how we predict and manage heart problems in people with sleep apnea.
