New pacemaker technology aims to fix Heart's weak spots

NCT ID NCT07173777

Summary

This study is testing a new way for pacemakers to send electrical signals to the heart, called anodal biphasic pacing (ABP). Researchers want to see if this new method works as well as or better than current pacemakers, potentially improving how the heart pumps and reducing common side effects. The study will enroll 108 people with different levels of heart function who are already scheduled for a heart device procedure at Boston Medical Center.
