New heart mapping tech aims to better target irregular heartbeat treatment
NCT ID NCT06529978
Summary
This study is testing a new heart mapping system designed to help doctors better target treatment for persistent atrial fibrillation (AFib), a common irregular heartbeat. The research will see if using this detailed map to guide a standard ablation procedure is safe and more effective at keeping the heart's normal rhythm. It aims to enroll 245 adults with persistent AFib who have not had prior ablation treatment.
