Could a diabetes pill ease Women's mysterious heart pain?

NCT ID NCT06600178

Summary

This study is testing if a drug called Brezavvy, currently used for diabetes, can improve blood flow in the tiny heart vessels and reduce chest pain in women. Researchers will compare the drug to a placebo in 150 women who have chest pain but no major blockages in their large heart arteries. Participants will take the study drug or placebo for 12 weeks and undergo heart scans and questionnaires to see if their symptoms and heart blood flow improve.
