Tiny wire tested to help failing hearts beat in sync

NCT ID NCT04156412

Summary

This small pilot study tested a new, very thin wire designed to improve a heart failure treatment called Cardiac Resynchronization Therapy (CRT). The study involved 39 patients who needed a CRT device to help their heart pump more effectively. Researchers checked if this new wire could be successfully placed and provide good electrical pacing from two different spots on the heart.
