NCT ID NCT07294742

Summary

This study is testing a new, balloon-shaped catheter that uses brief pulses of electricity to treat persistent atrial fibrillation (AFib), a common irregular heartbeat. The goal is to see if this new tool is safe and creates lasting treatment effects. Doctors will check 34 patients to see if the treated heart tissue heals properly and if the irregular heartbeat stays away for up to a year.
