New Nose-Based treatment challenges invasive headache fix
NCT ID NCT07354464
Summary
This study is testing if a less invasive nerve block procedure, given through the nose, works as well as the current standard treatment (an epidural blood patch) for severe headaches that can occur after a spinal tap or epidural. It will involve 80 adults whose headaches have not improved with basic care. Researchers will measure which treatment provides faster and better pain relief over one week.
