Fighting a Cancer-Linked stomach bug: new combo therapies tested

NCT ID NCT07293910

Summary

This study is testing new combinations of medicines to treat H. pylori, a common stomach bacteria linked to ulcers and stomach cancer. Researchers will compare a new acid-blocking drug (vonoprazan) to a standard one, and see if adding vitamin D or probiotics helps kill the bacteria better. The goal is to find safer, more effective treatments for this hard-to-eradicate infection.
