New gum surgery aims to heal better by preserving tissue

NCT ID NCT05533528

Summary

This study is testing a new gum surgery technique for people with advanced gum disease. The new method makes a single cut between teeth to better preserve the body's natural healing tissue. Researchers will compare this new approach to a standard surgery to see if it leads to better gum healing and attachment over one year.
